This evening I think I shocked a few people by suggesting that a song called “Keepin’ Your Poop in a Jar” was good. It’s by a band called Hayseed Dixie who rule.
I was introduced to them by a friend about two years ago. They do so many other cool tracks - most notably some great covers. This is - obviously - an amusing cover of the Scissor Sisters track “I don’t feel like dancing”. Lots of other greats including “Ace of Spades” (see youtube for this played for the Beeb at Glastonbury), ACDC’s “You Shook Me All Night Long”, and so on.
Needless to say the banjo is amazing and - whilst it can be abused - you really have to take your hat off to people who can play it well.
