Saw this picture and it reminded me of some birds I saw whilst waiting for a flight. I was sat in the rather dreary departure hall at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport trying to stay awake. Outside there were some beautiful little birds. They were not beautiful in their colourings but their movements were just fantastic. They were swooping, diving and hovering around the windows. I felt really jealous of their ability to move so gracefully. I wanted to be one of them. Compared to the cumbersome passenger jets that they were in front of they were the picture of elegance and agility. What a contrast.
Gutted that since I know naff all about birds I can’t tell you what they are despite a bit of googling.
